i-Fix

The innovative i-FIx implant system consists of implants having characteristics and advantages already known in implantology with the addition of the latest ideas. All i-Fix implants are gamma sterilized and have the surface treated with SAS (sandblasted and acid-etched surface) which guarantees the optimal bone-implant interface. i-Fx implants are designed to be submerged, and are available in cylindrical and conical versions. The threading, more marked in the apical zone, gives more grip to the fixture just after insertion and on the coronal zone there is a micro-threading resulting in reduction of the osseous re-absorption under load. The prosthetic connection includes a cone linked to an octagon. This cone gives optimal stability to the abutment , the octagon makes it anti-rotational and gives a precise position on the working plaster mould.It is therefore possible to use both abutments with passing screw and full abutments. The i-Fix system adopts the principle of platform-switching and the prosthetic crown closes on the abutment far from the osseous level. These two principles reduce osseous re-absorption and maintain optimal gingival anatomy.The diameter of the prosthetic connection varies according to the implant diameters, which are indicated with : FN, F1, F2, F3/F3 wide.
